About the 3D Tours
Our Interactive Course Tour combines visually striking 3D graphics with photographic references as you move through the hole and then adds engaging interactivity that is easy to master.
This result to existing members and prospective members is to become excited and eager to play our course.
By clicking the play button the user can fly over each hole from tee to pin giving a broad overview of each hole. While the more adventurous user can explore any part of the course in greater detail using the advanced controls. You can also switch from the helicopter view to the golf cart view to give you a more realistic experience.
This is a created 3D model so it is not an exact replication of all the trees and shrubs or rock outbreaks. We think it is very close to real and is a very good representation of the Monash experience. The real photo frames that appear as you progress through the course ads the life like experience.
One of the clever attributes is that this advanced software supports quick download times even on slower connections. This results in the user getting a full motion preview without having to wait for large media files to download.
Depending on your computers graphics card there may be a little jerking at the start of each hole.
