Booking Conditions

CORPORATE GOLF DAYS

 

Monash Country Club is located in Sydney's Northern Beaches region. It is a proven, ideal location for functions, business seminars and corporate golf days. We thank you for considering us for your special function. Set out below are the responsibilities of both you, as the hirer of the facility and Monash Country Club as the provider.

Booking Enquiries
All booking enquires for social functions, business seminars, or corporate golf days are to be made through the Club's office during business hours (9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Saturday).
Enquires should be directed to the Functions Manager.

Deposits and Confirmation for Golf

Your booking will be considered provisional for twenty one (21) days after the initial inquiry. Your booking will be confirmed on receipt of one five ($500.00) dollars deposit, before the expiration of this provisional period.

Deposits may be refundable on cancellation only on the following conditions:

1) Cancellations must be made TWO (2) MONTHS prior to the confirmed date. NOTE: The booking fee will be forfeited in this case. If cancellation occurs within the two months and Monash Country Club can re-book the day, the deposit will be refunded.

2) If, due to poor weather conditions, or any other circumstances, the course be deemed unplayable and closed by Monash Country Club. NOTE: The deposit is refundable under these circumstances.

Monash Country Club Limited is required to charge GST on all goods and services provided and will be shown as an inclusive price in all menus. If you require a Tax Invoice please make this request upon payment of the initial deposit.

Dress Regulations and Course Etiquette
Please make sure your guests adhere to these rules. The policy of Monash Country Club is for golf shoes to have soft spikes only.

Members and visitors are required to conform to standards of dress in keeping with the dignity associated with the game of golf, and befitting a member of a private club. Dress on the course and in the clubhouse must be neat, clean and in good taste at all times.

Golf shoes are not to be worn in the Clubhouse.

Mobile telephones are not allowed in and around the Clubhouse or on the course. They may be used only in the car parks.

Final Numbers for Golf
It is the responsibility of the Organiser to supply Monash Country Club with final numbers of golfers playing seven (7) days prior to the event. Failure to do so will incur a charge based on original numbers. There will be a tolerance of 10% as a result of unforeseen circumstances up to 2 days prior to the event. Should inclement weather force the closure of the golf course, there will be no charge to the client.

Final Numbers for Catering
A guaranteed minimum number of guests attending the function is required seven (7) days prior to the event. Numbers may be increased following this period, but only after consultation with the Function Manager. Any decreases will be charged for.

Tee Off Times
a) Shotgun
The minimum number required for a shotgun start is generally 100. A limited shotgun with a 9 hole start may be considered in some circumstances.
b) Two tee start
It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure all players are informed of their tee times. Consequently, all players must adhere to their allotted time slot to enable everyone to complete their game.

Personal Property
Monash Country Club will take all necessary care, but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left at Monash Country Club prior, during or after functions/seminars. Organisers of the function should arrange their own insurance.

Damage to the Club
The Organiser/Organisation is financially responsible for any damage sustained to Monash Country Club property during their function.

Parking
Guests attending a function at Monash Country Club must only park in designated areas and are not to park in areas marked for use by Club Officials and Members of the Committee.

Food and Beverage
Monash Country Club is fully licensed and provides a wide range of menus to suit all events. Monash Country Club policy does not allow food or beverage to be brought into the Club or onto the golf course.

Conditions
Guests attending any function At Monash Country Club are required to adhere to the following conditions:
· To remain within the area hired for their function.
· To adhere to the dress codes of the Club.
· To vacate Monash Country Club premises in an orderly and quiet manner within thirty (30) minutes after the end of the function.

The Organiser is required to inform guests attending the function of these conditions and is responsible for ensuring that guests attending the function adhere to these conditions.

Responsible Service of Alcohol
The Board of Directors of this Club have adopted a policy promoting the responsible service of alcohol. In accordance with the law, any patron observed to be intoxicated will be refused service and requested to leave the Club premises. Any practice which promotes irresponsible consumption of alcohol or unruly behavior will not be tolerated and further service will be refused and the person (s) asked to leave the premises.

Thank you for considering Monash Country Club as the venue for your function. The Staff and Management of Monash Country Club will ensure that your event will be carried out both diligently and in a thoroughly careful manner that has earned Monash Country Club an outstanding reputation for its hospitality.
