Bulldozer breakdown – 17th update

Members you will have recently noticed there has been very little work taking place on the 17th hole. Unfortunately, our contractor Flemming’s have recently experienced a major engine issue with their Dozer and are currently in the process of replacing the entire motor. They are about 60% of the way through the repair and once completed it will be delivered to Monash and you will see an incredible change in the shaping of the hole. We are hopeful it will be delivered next Monday.

We are confident that we have enough compactable material on site to suit specifications. The next stage of the project involves using the bulldozer with a GPS levelling system. This machine will move all the stockpiled material to suit the James Wilcher design.  

We will be conducting a members tour and explanation of the work on site one Friday to be advised. For those interested, stay tuned.
