How long have you been a member – 8 years
When did you start playing golf – 2009, I joined the first “Ladies Beginners Group” run by Glenn, Veronica Thomas and The Ladies Committee.
What course were you first a member – Monash
What made you join Monash? – The beginners group was such a great way to learn and to be introduced to the game – the best thing I ever did was join Monash.
Lowest handicap you have achieved so far – 29 – only lasted 2 weeks!
Favourite hole on the course – I enjoy playing the 5th hole as I can usually get a reasonable score (!) and the view over to the ocean is beautiful.
Best course outside of Monash that you have played – Pezula in Knysna, South Africa. Olazabal, Mission Hills, China
Favourite golfer of all time -Ernie Els because of his composure, beautiful swing and personality.
If you could play any course in the world what would it be – St Andrews in Scotland
And could you name the people you’d like to join you on this dream day? – My husband Graham and our two sons Cameron and Nicholas.
Fondest memories of your time as a member of MCC – My drive off the 14th landed in the water. After hitting from the drop zone I searched and searched for the ball and was sure it was lost. To my surprise it was in the hole! – I ended up with 3 a 4 (unfortunately I have never repeated it again!).
Finish this sentence “I love coming to Monash because….“I look forward to playing with my very dear friends on a Tuesday and Sunday (and the occasional Friday). All of the staff in the Pro Shop, office and Bar are so friendly and welcoming which makes Monash a very happy place (the soup is also worth coming for :).
