Monash Junior Academy

Monash Golf Club’s Junior Golf Academy is the newest and most comprehensive structured golf programs in Sydney.  The Academy includes professional tuition and on-course golf each weekdays and weekends with all aspects of the game covered including rules and etiquette. Boys and girls from aged between 5 and 16 years are eligible to participate.

“Your Pathway To College Golf”

Monash academy provides an elite setting for junior golfers to learn, train, compete and gain exposure to national junior rankings, college golf and eventually professional golf.

Monash Academy golf coaches work together with students to understand their needs and ability level, allowing them to create a semester-long, personalized training plan, and tournament schedule. 

Juniors Programs

MYGOLF – Tuesday – Friday (4:00PM – 5:00PM)

Fun Above all, it is imperative that any activity is fun and engaging for juniors to keep them involved and excited about golf. Juniors, particularly at the introductory level, are looking for fun with their friends and that is the platform for which My Golf has been based.

Life Skills Children are introduced to valuable life skills throughout the program that will not only assist them on the course, but also in everyday life. Each level of the program focuses on developing specific skills such as respect, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

Games Using games is the best way for juniors to learn and develop skills while still having fun. The My Golf program encourages learning through fun, team-based, inclusive games and activities which allow for skill repetition and progression.

Simplicity The essence of the program is for juniors to enjoy golf while learning and developing new motor and life skills along the way. It is important from the outset, regardless of age or ability, that we enforce the idea that golf is simple and easy to understand. 

ELITE GOLF – Tuesday – Sunday ( 5:00 – 6:00pm) 

Elite Junior Golf classes led by our most experienced lead master PGA instructor Torie Blakemore allows the student to train to PGA/LPGA Tour standards.

60 minute to All Day Classes are available preparing your child for the pressure and expectations of college or tour standards.

Example Daily Schedule

8:00 ARRIVE AT LEARNING CENTER

8:00-8:30 WARM UP, PERSONAL DRILLS

8:30-10:30 INSTRUCTION WITH LEAD MASTER

10:30-12:00 DRIVERS WITH TRACKMAN, SHOT SHAPING, BUNKERS, IRONS, WEDGES, PUTTING

12:00-1:00 LUNCH

1:00-5:00 PLAY 18 HOLES

Active Kids – (4.5 to 18 years)

In order to claim your vouchers, you are required to register with NSW Government. The registration is managed by Service NSW. On July 1st, 2023, new vouchers became available for the Active Kids program in line with the announcement by the Premier and Treasurer in June 2023.One $50 Active Kids voucher is now available to all NSW children aged 4.5 to 18 years who are currently enrolled in school. This voucher will be valid until January 31st, 2024 and is not means-tested. If your club is already a registered Provider, today you will have received communication from the NSW Office of Sport about the new vouchers and a small selection of assets to assist with the promotion of the program.

The Active Kids program is an excellent opportunity to grow your junior membership numbers and programs, and it costs your club nothing to be involved.
