Face of Monash – Nancy Fink
Published on 15th November 2018 in UncategorisedHow long have you been a member: I had the pleasure of joining Monash in August 2014
When did you start playing golf: I used to play the odd corporate day before seriously taking it up when I joined Monash.
Your first course: The best course of course…‘Monash’
What made you join Monash: It was reasonably close to home and we fell in love with it when we had our first round with then Captain George Sutton.
Lowest handicap achieved so far: 25.2
Favourite hole on the course: 9th hole, I usually score well on it.
Best course outside of Monash that you have played: Bonville. I attended the women’s amateur tournament there last year with ladies from Monash and I had a blast. It was a beautiful and challenging course.
Favourite Golfer of all time: Ricky Fowler.
Have you seen him play live: Yes, at the Waste Management Tournament in Scottsdale Arizona.
What course in the world would you like to play: Pebble Beach
And your playing partners: Anna and Norbit Krebs and I’d have to take Cameron Fink.
Any funny stories at MCC: Not that funny but I have hit two close friends with golf balls. Good news is they are still my friends and continue to play with me.
Finish this sentence, “I love coming to Monash because….it is absolutely beautiful and they have Stone & Wood on tap.
