2020 Club Championship Semi Finals halted as course deemed unplayable
Published on 1st November 2020 in UncategorisedWe were due to have the semi-finals contested Sunday 1 November. Unfortunately the heavens opened around 9am and the already soft greens did not take much to go under water. Play for the day was eventually abandoned with the course unplayable. The players have now been given the option to reschedule their matches for any time before next Sunday’s final. A reminder course works on the 5th will commence the week after the final, with 9A in play for at least 2 weeks.
Semi-final matches which were in play prior to closing and will be recommenced from that point are: Sunil Patel 6up against Michael Eksteen after 15 holes. Brett Jardine is 1up against Doug Cullam after 14 holes. Tracey Browne & Tinika Bliss are all square after 13 holes.
