Major Pennants campaign over for 2022
Published on 8th March 2022 in UncategorisedUnbelievably our Major Pennant team played in horrendous conditions at NSW Golf Club last Sunday. It was only that NSW wanted to try finish as high as possible on the overall table that the match went ahead, each game crucial for them. Our team suffered a 6-1 loss, were gallant in defeat with close games and some amazing scoring by the local NSW boys. The good news is our Monash team remain in Division 1 of the major pennant for 2023. Congratulations to the youngest member of our team Jamie Smith on an outstanding season and being named Player of the Year after recording 4 wins and 1 loss.
To the loyal caddies who battled some terrible conditions this year a sincere thank you. To team managers Geoff Atherton and Ryan McClelland thank you for being so supportive and upbeat amongst the team and instilling a terrific comradery within the group!
