Our new team

We are excited to introduce our new Head Chef, Steve Proctor who brings over 25 years’ experience to Monash. Steve has worked in hatted restaurants and more recently headed the team at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club. One of Steve’s other passions is surfing. Steve is a guide for a visually impaired surfer and has recently returned from the United States where he and his contestant came third in the US Open Adaptive surfing championships held at Oceanside Pier.

Harry has been with us for two years now and also brings over 25 years’ experience to the table. In his new role as Sous Chef I am sure we will be seeing more of Harry’s incredible dishes encompassing some of his native Nepalese flavours. Harry is a very keen gardener and grows an enormous variety of herbs and vegetables in his home garden. His use and knowledge of spices and chili are exceptional. His new partnership with Steve will provide a very creative environment and we are all very excited to savor the flavours of this new team.

We welcome to the team local girl Niki who jumps in as Kitchen assistant. Niki also brings a wealth of experience with her. Niki will be assisting three to four days a week. Niki is also accomplished musician – her passion the Trumpet. Nikki plays regular gigs in a Big Band. You can catch Niki at the Manly Jazz Festival coming up soon.
