Thank you Monash from BWOG

Thank You Monash! The Barrenjoey Women’s Classic Committee would like to extend a big thank you to Monash for hosting the foursomes competition on Tuesday and the 4 person teams event on Thursday this week!

With 488 women competing in this tournament, it is the biggest amateur women’s golf event in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Monash course was thoroughly enjoyed and complimented by all the competitors, as were the hospitality and food offered by the club.

Well done to Monash golfing legends for taking out the honours in Division 1 of the Foursomes on Tuesday – Karen Mayoh and Sylvie Manning won the Nett Prize and the Scratch Prize and Perpetual Trophy was won by Ali Gatland and Wendy Harrington.

Thank you also to the helpers across the 2 days for welcoming everyone and working to make the event a great success – Anne Atherton, Elspeth Hobson and Ria Livanas (all BWOG Delegates), and Liz Whittaker, Sara Levy, Sue Duchesne, Dee Gadsby, Carole Quinn (Mona Vale) and Selina Pyle (Mona Vale).

The event raised over $11,000 for Women and Children First who are very grateful for this donation. Thank you to all the Monash members who purchased tickets in the charity raffle.
