Gathering before and after golf – from the General Manager
Published on 31st July 2021 in UncategorisedMembers, after contacting the Local area command Police and the NSW Government, the Covid protocols that Monash Country Club have in place to provide exercise and consume take away are in line with providing a common sense approach at this time.
Recently 6 members were suspended for breaching the MCC Covid protocols.
To reinforce these:
Arrive no more than 20 minutes prior to your round.
Depart the premises 20 minutes after your round.
We are allowed to sell take away food and beverage. You may eat and drink with your golfing partner (group of 2), not sitting down and must be socially distanced. In this 20 minute period you MUST NOT gather in a larger group.
All staff members and Board members have been instructed to reinforce the Covid protocols if they believe there may be a breach.
For those members who are lucky enough to be playing here, please respect these rules and those who are carrying out their duties. Let’s not spoil what we are able to offer.
