Members, the latest NSW Govt announcement has for the next 3 days 24, 25, 26 December broken the northern beaches residents into 2 zones.

Monash will be closed for golf on the 24th and 25th December. We take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy festive season.

With regards to golf and following advice from the NSW Golf Association. For the safety of all members and staff the front gate will be manned and drivers licences will be checked. Do not turn up unless you are booked to play golf.

If you are from outside the Northern Zone of the beaches, please don’t be disappointed if you are turned away, you are not meant to be here.

All existing timesheets will be deleted and reopened as soon as possible. Please check the website, but please do not book if you are from outside the lockdown zones.

For Golf on Saturday 26 December. Do not book for golf if you are outside the North Zone of the Northern Beaches LGA. This area extends east of the Bahai Temple and north of the Narrabeen bridge. Due to this restricted area, we are not expecting a busy day.

• Golf will be played in groups of 2.
• Carts are 1 person only unless from the same residence.
• Compulsory comp until 1pm which will be the last tee time.
• Mi-score app only, no scorecards.
• No entry to the proshop on this day. Unfortunately there will no food available. Drinks will be available by order and collect from the front door of the shop.
• The gates will be closing Boxing Day at 6pm.
• Driving range and putting green closed.

 

From the 27th until further notice the northern beaches reverts back to a single northern beaches lockdown. If you are from outside the Northern Beaches you must not access the club.

We will continue to man the front gate and check licences.

While these restrictions are difficult and we know affect many of our members outside the restricted zones, e.g. Dover Heights, Castle Cove, Chatswood, St Ives, Willoughby, we appreciate your understanding during this time as we follow the NSW Government regulations. As soon as we are able to get back to normal golf access we will, and continue to communicate further as per Government announcements.
